  1. Great job.
I use Topo Profiler for cycling (calculate hills).
Maybe for next release: on profile calculate average grade in %.
That will be very usefull for me.

    Thanks

    1. Thank you very much for using Topo Profiler and your feedback.

Topo Profiler can show an averaged gradient value of an arbitrary selected segments in a path from version 2.2.
Please select "Range selection" in the setting of "Selection mode when tapping in graph" and tap on the graph view.

It can also show the local gradient value at a selected point on the path in the graph view. Please set "Show gradient value at selected point" in the setting.

  2. I love the program. When I first set a bookmark I was able to retrieve. The last two routes I did would not save or when I try to retrieve them the system crashes. Be able to get a route back is a useful feature. Any suggestions?

    1. Thank you for using Topo Profiler and your feedback.

We found that when a path including many (more than about 15) route-mode(i.e. EXPWAY, Road, Walk mode) waypoint is loaded, the server tends to reject a data request for the reason that too many requests are sent in a short time. In that case the app crashes due to a bug. We are now fixing these issues and we will release the update version as soon as possible. Then, please wait for the update. Thank you for your patience.

  3. Topo Profile does just as I expected. I find it usefull for researching bike rides. An additional feature that I would love to see is a calculation of total accumulated elevation gain and loss in a profile.

We're now considering a feature to show a cumulative elevation gain of a path. Since a calculation of it is not straightforward (for example, it depends on a sampling pitch on the path, a threshold value for an elevation difference which should be counted, and etc.), we can't tell when the version with the feature will be released. Please be patient until a development is completed.
